Kinan Knitting Corporation was founded in 1930 in Wakayama where is the biggest producing area of circular knitting in Japan.
We have been producing various knitting fabrics such as plain knit, rib, interlock, and fleece fabircs over 80 years.
Our concept is to supply knitting fabrics and finished knitting garments for all seasons, that will last a long time and will give an attachment to users according to their life style.
We also develop our original and unique fabrics made from echo materials.
We place high importance on materials and always try to create something new.
Virtuouls circles among head office and factory in Wakayama, Tokyo branch, and Nagoya branch provide a professional service to satisfy various needs of clients.
We stick Made in Japan and provide vertical proposal from knitting fabrics to finished knitting garments.
【Development of original maerials】
We always try to catch market needs and identify trends to develop suitable knitting construction for selected materials and we apply dying and finishing process to maximize the effect on each material.
We have an archive of knitting, that is created during our long history, and we utilize it to develop a new proposal according to market needs.
【Variety of materials】
We have about 150 different kinds of materials consiting of our original yarns and basic yarns.
In additiion to that, we have about 50 original yarns that is created by a joint development with our partners.
We also have a running stock of greige fabrics and finished fabrics to offer a quick response.
【Development of eco materials】
We provide a running stock of yarns developed by eco concept as below.
- Blended yarns of recycle cotton which is made from fell cotton produced during spinning
and cupra rayon which is regenerated eco materials made from pulp. - 100% supima cotton made from fell cotton produced during spinning.
